Creation of the Orco Foundation

Orco Property Group is pleased to announce the creation of the Orco Foundation which is currently in the registration process in Luxembourg. Since 1991, Orco Property Group has been contributing to the renovation and economic development of Central Europe;  now Orco Founder & CEO, Jean-François Ott and his wife Corinne, are organizing the group’s charitable activities through one entity, the Orco Foundation. Its mission is to promote stability and hope in the regions in which Orco Property Group is present in three main ways:

• the construction of a building dedicated to social works
• the launching of a unique event that improves the environment in each region
• the support of long-term therapeutic and educational projects.

Orco Property Group is a leading investor, developer and asset manager in the real estate and hospitality markets in Central Europe, managing 2.4 billion euros in assets. Over the course of its development, Orco Property Group and its subsidiaries have participated in many charitable activities in the region -- from constructing a home for the elderly in Prague 2 in the late 90’s, to organizing a sports day for Czech orphans in Slapy, to organizing a ‘Tree-Planting Day’ in Poland in 2007. Orco Property Group has provided for Orco Foundation with an opening capital of 300 000 euros and the Foundation will raise additional funds from other corporations and partner associations. The Foundation’s Values and Guiding Principles are:

• Work in ways that are sustainable and transparent
• Create and support projects that are sustainable, forward-thinking, and transparent
• Create and support projects that touch the most people or largest part of the environment
• Measure our projects’ long-term impact
• Seek balance between long-term projects versus event-oriented projects; between tangible (construction for example) and less tangible projects (such as rehabilitative therapy)
• Create and support projects that include local communities, Orco Property Group employees, partner associations, and other sponsors
• Seek to create or support projects that are independent of ideological or religious affiliations
